Warren Police Chief Randy Peek urges everyone attending the 57th Annual Pink Tomato Festival to have a good time but be smart. Make sure when you are attending the various activities that you keep your vehicle locked at all times. Do not leave cell phones, computers, purses or anything valuable in the vehicle. Be alert and always call for a police officer if in need. Law enforcement personnel will be around all festival activities.
Chief Peek also urges everyone to keep up with small children. Don't turn them loose to get lost in the large crowds. Make their safety your top concern.
Finally it is important to remember four-wheelers and all types of ATV's are not allowed on City streets.
In addition, be aware of your surroundings and when you leave home, be sure you secure your home.
